The information we collect
Through the websites and applications we own, host, or manage, you may be able to engage in various activities, such as but not limited to, entering promotions, contests, sweepstakes, playing games or instant-win promotions, taking quizzes, voting in polls or otherwise expressing an opinion, subscribing to services, such as newsletters or publications. Through certain promotions, you can submit information about other people. For example, you might submit a person's name, mailing and/or e-mail address to nominate them into a contest. The types of personally identifiable information that may be collected about other people at these pages include: recipient's name, address, e-mail address and telephone number.
Our Platform does collect non-personally identifiable information when you visit web pages or use our applications, including but not limited to, the IP address used to access the internet or the mobile Internet, the type of phone or other mobile device used, the type of browser and operating system used, the date and time of access, and location-based information.
How we use the information
We may use the information you provide about yourself or others when operating a multi-step entry or validation process, to send entry notification, prize notification when you have won a contests or sweepstakes, to fulfill requests or services, to respond to inquiries, or to send product offers, programs or services on behalf of the administrator or sponsor(s) of a promotion you have entered or registered for.
We may combine information we receive with other records and share such information with third parties such as the sponsor(s) of a promotion to provide to you those products or services that may be of interest to you and for which you have opted in.
We may disclose personally identifiable information to third parties whose practices are not covered by this privacy statement, such as but not limited to, co-sponsor(s), magazine publishers, retailers, participatory databases and non-profit organizations with whom the sponsor(s) of a promotion you entered as agreement(s) with.
If you choose to submit content (e.g., a contest entry such as an essay, a photo or video), we, the administrator or sponsor(s) may publish your name, screen name and other information you have provided.
We may use the non-personally identifiable information that we collect to improve the design, development, and content of the websites and applications we own, host, or manage, and to enable us to customize your experience. We also may use this information to analyze site usage, as well as to offer you products, programs or services.
We will disclose information we maintain when required to do so by law, for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena. We also may disclose such information in response to a law enforcement agency's request.

Collection of information by third-party sites
